How to Upload Revenue Streams Files?

Now that you have created some deals and payees, you are ready to start uploading your sales reports in our Revenue Streams menu. 

By uploading a revenue stream, Habitat will automatically populate content and create tracks from the information included in each report. The revenue in the sales report will then flow through any deals that are associated with the tracks.

Habitat supports hundreds of different sources for sales data. If you have a data source that is not currently on our list of supported sources, please send us an email at support@habitat.financial  and we will build it into our system within 48 hours.

Navigate to Revenue Streams in the Home dashboard, then hit the “Upload Report” button to the right of the Revenue Streams section.

Upload your Revenue Streams File

On the “Upload a revenue stream report”, hit the “Choose File” button to upload the revenue streams. If you have multiple revenue streams, click on the “Upload multiple” text at the bottom of the title. 

Once your upload is ready, you can select your distributor, write your statement name, choose your reporting period and then click “Submit”. Once you click Submit, you will be redirected to the Revenue Stream section.



Complete the Revenue Streams file setup

When you click into your uploaded Revenue Streams file, you should be welcomed by a “Complete Deal & Content Information” button. From there, you can associate your revenue streams with a deal, create new deals, or merge tracks with existing tracks.
